So I moved from LJ to here so that my friends who don't use LJ can now see my posts -coughZeecough- :)
Lots and lots of things have been going on these past couple of days, all of which have been way overwhelming. First off was trying to get all of my attendance stuff squared away, which like...I still need to get notes for and all that. I asked Lombardi whether or not I could use parent notes, since I wasn't seen at the doctor every single time and he was just like, "We'll see where it goes from there" and walked away and I was just like, "........... wut."
Then on Tuesday after school I had bloodwork. The nurse found my vein right away, but I guess my blood was thin this time because it didn't stop bleeding for like...two hours afterwards. Not really sure if that was really why, or if that was a bad sign, but okiedoke. My appointment with Dr. Jones is on this Tuesday coming up, so I think I'll be getting the Accutane prescription when I go. Kinda not looking forward to any of the warned side effects, but awkay.
Then yesterday was one of the craziest things I think has ever happened to me ever.
Ms. McCormick was like, "Hey Kate, come here a minute, there's something I think you might want to see" and I thought she was gonna go, "HAHA YOU HAVE A BIG FAT ZEROOOOOO ON YOUR FONT ASSIGNMENT!" because I kept forgetting to hand it in. Instead, she handed me a piece of paper and when I read it, I think my heart jumped a little bit.

Back in March, we entered Google's "Doodle4Google" contest for their new logo to the theme of "What If..." along with thousands of other schools across the country.
I was chosen as a state finalist.
Ohhh my goodness. I didn't, and still don't, really know what to do with myself. I'm really surprised and I feel bad at the same time because I didn't actually spend more than an hour on it... and I handed it into class three days late... LOL;;;; but I'm still really really honored. I think that's it though, from reading the website. I guess that uh..regional winners were already picked on that same day.
State is still really cool, though.
I've gotten a lot of congrats from my teachers who know about it, and I guess Ms. McCormick will be putting an announcement about it in the school bulletin next week so that the students and faculty will all vote for me. @A@;; I also got a call from Melina congratulating me this afternoon also. I was really happy to hear from her; I guess we're gonna hang out next weekend <3
Amber and I did a small photoshoot on Wednesday afternoon at Child's Park. The Rose Garden still hasn't bloomed, but the tulips were in full bloom~ so we took some around the park and did double shots when we got back to my house. Here are some of my favorites~
Laying in the area that the tulip garden was~
"Did those mean people hurt you?"
